Convert your Remington 597 rifle into the Archangel 5.97 rifle. Manufactured entirely from Mil-Spec polymers. Includes upper receiver housing with integral Picatinny rail, lower receiver housing with pistol grip (includes built in storage compartment), six position Archangel combat stock (with hidden storage in receiver extension tube), free float handguard with Picatinny rails located at the twelve o'clock (top) and six o'clock (bottom) positions (additional rails may be added), muzzle device with Picatinny rail and bayonet lug (lug accepts the Archangel polymer display bayonet, included).

Good replacement stock for the Remington 597, changes the look and feel of the gun greatly. The ARS stock fit well over the receiver and barrel with no problems and is very sturdy. Only complaint I could have is that the stock did not arrive with the hex wrench needed to insert the bolt threw the gun handle, this is really required to reach the bolt and tighten it at the correct angle. Overall good buy and would recommend, my only concern is that the composite threads may tear out of the stock after several disassembly/assemblies of the gun, but no sign of a problem yet.

Great stock makes the weapon more manageable, just wish it had sights to go with it.I put a red dot on it works good.
